Maria Mosebi holds an LLB Degree from University of the Free State and was admitted as an attorney in February 2014. After completing her LLB degree, Ms Mosebi volunteered at magistrate court Pretoria for a period of 5 months, she later joined Mafuyeka Attorneys where served her articles for a period of 2 years.
Ms Mosebi gained her experience in civil matters, Third party Claim matters, Family matters, Labour Law and Administration of Estates. department to mention but a few. After completing her articles she joined Makhubela Attorneys in January 2014 as an Attorney. Ms Mosebi handles Telkom SOC Limited, Municipality matters, the National Department of Home Affairs civil litigation matter.
Ms Mosebi has one year of legal practice dealing mainly with High Court and Magistrates Court civil litigation and Personal Injury matters (Third party matters).
Makhubela Attorneys was formed in 2008 by its founder and MD, Mr Luckyboy Makhubela. Mr Lucky Makhubela holds an LLB degree from the University of Pretoria. In 2004 to 2005 he has served his articles of clerkship with the prestigious Adams & Adams. He was admitted 2006 as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
Lucky Makhubela has served as a licensing officer at the Independent Communications Authority (ICASA). During this period Lucky Makhubela was involved in all the licensing processes of the regulator, amongst others, the Community Broadcasting Licenses, Telecommunications Licenses and other related projects.
In 2007 Lucky Makhubela joined Knowles Husain Lindsay Inc, one of the leading commercial law firms in South Africa. In this law firm Lucky specialized in Civil Litigation, Labour Law, Telecommunications Law, Broadcasting Law, and Medial Law. Through this exposure, Lucky rendered legal services to different clients including the National Credit Regulator (NCR) wherein he chaired a number of disciplinary hearings as well as the Independent Development Trust (IDT) wherein he has rendered services such as Chairing disciplinary hearings, prosecuting in the disciplinary hearings and providing Legal Opinions on labour matters. Lucky Makhubela continues to advise different stakeholders within the Labour sector, including the government and non-government entities.
Meso Johannes Maoto holds an LLB Degree from the University of Pretoria which he completed in 2011. Meso is a member of the Golden Key international Society, meaning he was in the Dean’s Merit list for the year 2009. He joined Adams & Adams as a Vacational Candidate attorney in early 2011 and later moved on to Makhubela attorneys where he continues to gain experience in the Litigation Department.
Mr Maoto joined Makhubela Attorneys in September 2012. He is involved mainly in Labour law matters. He has appeared at a number arbitrations at Commission for Conciliation, Meditation and Arbitration for a Labour dispute matters on behalf of Makhubela Attorneys’ client, Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA). Mr Maoto specializes in Civil litigation, Personal Injury Law, Constitutional & Administrative Law, to mention but a few.
Karabo Lincoln Ranamane holds his LLB degree from the University of Limpopo which he completed in 2016. He is currently serving his articles of Clerkship with Makhubela Attorneys Inc. He continues to assist under the supervision of Mr. Makhubela to specialize in Personal Injury, Medical negligence matters as well as general civil litigation matters. Mr. Ranamane works closely with all attorneys and paralegals in the firm to grow and sharpen his skills as an upcoming attorney.
Miss Thato Morule is a graduate from the University of the NelsonMandela Metropolitan. She acquired her LLB degree in early 2017 and subsequently joined Makhubela Attorneys where she is serving her articles of clerkship under her principal Mr. Luckyboy Makhubela. She continues to sharpen her experience on the Commercial Law Advisory division, Corporate Law matters and Labour law division as well as third party claims.
Apart from being the Managing Member of the firm, Mr Makhubela also serves on the Financial Service Board Appeals Tribunal where he adjudicates on matters relating to the financial services sector. He was appointed on this position by the Minister of Finance in 2011. Mr Makhubela being an admitted attorney of 13 uninterrupted years of experience of legal practice also seats on a number of private company boards. Mr Makhubela is currently the leading and supervising attorney for personal injury law services rendered to the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA). He heads the litigation for both High Court as well as Magistrate’s Court.
Miss Lesego Morobane is a graduate from the University of Johannesburg. Dolly Mothemela holds her LLB degree from the University of South Africa which she completed in 2019. She is currently serving his articles of Clerkship with Makhubela Attorneys Inc. She assist under the supervision of Mr. Makhubela to specialize in Personal Injury, Medical negligence matters; Labour Law; Personal Injury Law as well as general civil litigation matters.
